Introduction to Business Ideas for Kids
I’m going to give you four different Business Ideas for Kids that even kids can start, and of course, adults can start them too. And these business ideas can make your child a millionaire by the time they’re of age. And that’s even if you have a teenager. So I’m going to start with talents for the four business that even kids can start, and that is:
Business for Kids that Like Art
The first option for a business that even a kid can start is creating art on clothing and accessories. Now, this is another option where my daughter’s talents come in handy. There are many options to create clothing or designing sneakers. You don’t even have to have stock in your house. Okay, so it’s kind of like how Amazon KDP does with the low content books; they’ll ship it right to the customer. You don’t have to worry about the logistics of it. But another option for selling is Etsy. So you can open up an Etsy store and sell your child’s designs on there. Take a look at this Etsy listing. This woman does sneaker design, and as you can see, she’s making a pretty penny off of every sale because it’s a custom design.
And having an Etsy store is very affordable. For example, I have an Etsy store, and each listing is 10 cents, and then of course, they take a percentage of the sales. And one thing that I use to make more sales on Etsy is Sales Samurai. Sales Samurai is a platform where you can link your Etsy store, and you can optimize it. So it’ll tell you if you need more photos, it’ll give you options to improve your SEO so that you can make more sales. They also have keyword options, and you can spy on your competition on there. They’re actually the same company that creates BookBolt.
Business for Creative Children
The second option is to write a book. Let’s face it, kids have great imaginations. I know my kid does. So she created an awesome children’s book that we are going to make public quite soon. And since she can draw, we don’t have to hire an illustrator. Even if your kid can’t draw, you can hire someone from Fiverr to illustrate that book. So all you guys have to do is come up with a little short kid story, and then you can publish it, and you can even publish it on Amazon KDP.
Your kid can be an author, and it’s so easy to do these days. You don’t have to have a publishing company put your child’s book out there. So I will let you know when my daughter’s book is ready because I want you to see the finished product. But let’s move on to the next option.

Content Creation and YouTube Channel Ideas for Kids
The third business that even kids can start is to be a content creator. Listen, it works for me. People don’t like to recognize content creation as a business, but it absolutely is a business, especially if you start that LLC for your child. They can have a legit business, and content creation, I don’t know about you, but my kid is well versed in TikTok. So depending on what your kid likes, then you can create content with that. And here’s a bonus tip: you can take these options that I’m giving you and turn it into content, and your kid can make money from that content as well.
You can monetize that content. So for example, if your kid likes to draw, then record videos of them drawing, speed it up, put it on TikTok, throw some music on it, and guess what? Now, if you guys continuously put those videos out, you will build a following, and people seeing the video will eventually realize, “Oh, I can actually buy this art that this kid is making.” And of course, we all know kids love gaming these days, and gaming is not a lost art. There are so many kids out there that are making a lot of money from gaming. So being a content creator is absolutely a business that a kid can start.
Dropshipping Business Ideas for Kids
The fourth business that even a kid can start is dropshipping. You can use a company such as TopDawg, and they will dropship items to customers. If you’re not familiar with dropshipping, they have products that are at the ready where you just list them on your website, and when people buy them from you, they will handle the shipping. So their dropshipping company is there to ship out the product that they already have. So for example, if your kid wants to sell lip gloss, you can find a dropshipping company that has lip gloss, and then you guys can list on a website the different types of lip glosses that are available, and then people can buy on your website. You will earn a profit for that, but then the dropshipping company will be the one supplying the lip gloss.
So all you’re doing is basically putting it out there that people can buy this product, and then the dropshipping company will handle the rest. So again, a great dropshipping company is called TopDawg. I’m going to link it down in the description so you can check them out. But also, if you need a website to be able to post the products on, you can use a pre-built store such as Shopify. But also, if you want to control everything and own your own platform, you can use your own website. For example, my blog, nikkiconnected.com, I have that hosted by Bluehost, and that’s as little as $2.95 a month. And there are plugins for linking a store to your own website. For example, WooCommerce is a great plugin that a lot of bloggers use to sell stuff on their website directly as well.
Conclusion
There were only four options in this article, so I have plenty more for you guys. So if you want more, please let me know in the comments that you want more of this type of content. And don’t forget that if you have a kid, you should be getting a Greenlight card. Get your kid a Greenlight card. It’s gonna save you so much money. But yeah, hopefully all of this information got your wheels turning of things that you can do to help your kid become a millionaire by the time they’re 18.
